 Groundnuts production  in India 

Gujarat is the largest producer of groundnuts in India, which is followed by Rajasthan Tamilnadu, Andhra-pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya pradesh, Maharasra and West Bengal. 

The crop is grown in both Kharif and Ravi seasons. The Kharif has a share of more than 75% of the total production.

India's groundnuts importing countries are:

GI Tagging represent the goods that are secured and no other person can use that registered name except authorised user.
