IndiGau is a cattle genomic chip of purely indigenous  cow animal breed developed by the Indian Institute of animal biotechnology Hyderabad to conserve the breed of cow.

Purposes

  • To achieve the goal of conservation of our own breeds with better characters. For example Gir, Sahiwal, kankrej, Ongole etc.
  • To help toward the doubling the farmers income by 2022.
